Who is this workshop for?

Are you a college student? Single or married? Divorced? Widowed? A young family or do you have older kids? Are you an empty-nester?

No matter your life-stage, this discipleship workshop is for you!

Workshop description:

In 21st century life, we are pulled in many directions. There are tensions between home and work, family and mission, Christian circles and our other friends. We struggle to find balance.

To navigate our Christian life, we tend to fall into one of three categories.  First, we may try to live as "family OR mission." This is where we sacrifice one in pursuit of the other. This leads us to loss of relationship or loss of Jesus' mission.  A secondary way we try is to live as "family AND mission." This leads us to compartmentalize all of life.  We end up with silos, no overlap in relationships, and we feel pulled in many directions.

Jesus shows us a better way: a fully integrated and wholistic way of life. We were meant to live as a "family ON mission." Whether married or single, whether we have children or not, this way of life includes others and operates as an 'extended family' going together on Jesus' mission.

This workshop will equip and inspire you to live as the family of God, journey together, and live out God's mission.

Together, we explore the biblical concept of Family on Mission.”
