Description:

ManUP Okanagan's Monthly Advance for January is titled - HIS POWER. OUR HANDS. NO EXCUSES. GET IT DONE! Our guest speaker is David Roy. David is the President and CEO of the Pursuit of Excellence Hockey Acadamy, here in Kelowna.

We live in a “Marshmallow World”. To varying degrees, we are all “soft”, sinful, and self-centered. Yet, as Christ Followers, we have been given everything we need to become the exact opposite of who we are. We have been given the greatest example of grit, sinlessness, and selflessness that the world has ever seen. Through the Holy Spirit, we possess the same miraculous power which Christ exhibited while on earth. Each of us has been gifted with a unique human capacity which, when combined with the Power of the Holy Spirit, sufficiently enables us to carry out God’s purposes and change the world. There are no excuses. Dave looks at some of the changes we need to make in our thinking, vision, and habits in order to achieve our God given potential and, in turn, change ourselves, those around us, and our world.
