Update from Chris and Angela Hiebert:

Thank you for praying for Chris and Rick's visit to with the national leaders! We are so grateful for the good, honest conversations that they had with people in Cuidad Juarez. We continue to pray that God leads us in loving and partnering well.

In October, there is Concilio - the yearly meetings with all of the pastors and leaders in the Alliance Mexico. While these are business meetings, there is also time for worship and teaching and times of refreshment. Please pray for good times of getting to know one another, prayer and God leading us forward as His church.

Our small group has continued to grow in these last months. While the pandemic continues to be a concern, we are slowly transitioning into more in person gatherings. We had a BBQ last weekend where we had almost 30 people out including kids! While the core group is about 12 people, we are so grateful to see the reach and welcome that is growing outward. We have a number of people who are new in following Jesus in our group. Please pray with us for these dear ones as they choose to know Him and grow deeper in Him and in community.

We are thrilled with how God is joining us together with other people and organizations with the same heart desire to see all people have access to Jesus! Please pray for us to have wisdom and discernment as we seek God for next steps. Because of the momentum building, we can see the enemy pushing back - pray we keep firm footing and alert.

Thank you......

In August we had the joy of spending time online with the Vancouver Chinese Alliance Women and friends, Pacific Community Church, and sharing the Call to Worship with Penticton Alliance Church in their weekend service.  While we know that we are separated by distance, we are so grateful for the way in which you partner with us in not only what God is doing here in Mexico but also in Canada. We have been in our "not so new role" for over a year now and looking back we can see how even in a pandemic, God has been so clearly leading us and narrowing our focus for this next season as a team in unity with nationals and foreigners alike!
