Young Adults meets at MCA Church on Monday nights at 7pm, join our Facebook group to see what's going on!
The Young Adults Group at MCA is focused on three things:
Community: Relationships are formed by doing what we love together. Whether that's snowboarding, dance, board games, or rock climbing, we want you to build friendships by doing life together.
Open: We are an open community that strives to be a safe place for people to be honest and ask questions, whatever they may be.
Intentional: We believe that the way to the most meaningful life is found through the person and work of Jesus. While we do not shy away from hard questions, we will be intentional in drawing each other back to Jesus.
What to expect at a Young Adults Night
The first part of the night is a great chance to order a cup of coffee, munch on some snacks, and meet a few new people. We will then transition into a short talk on relevant questions that impact the lives of Young Adult all the while showing what Jesus has to say on the topic. During the talk there will be an opportunity for you to text in your questions and a panel will lead the room in a discussion. No questions are off the table! After all this happens we encourage you to connect with one another, see what recreational activities are happening during the week that you could maybe bring out a friend or two to!
Community Through Recreation
We know that Kelowna is one of the greatest places in Canada to live, work, and most importantly PLAY! Almost every activity that you could want to participate in is available in Kelowna. From hiking to beach volleyball to snowboarding or dancing, Kelowna has it all! We know that one of the best way to build meaningful relationships is by doing something together. This is why we emphasis Young-Adult led recreational activities as a way to build community. These activities are led by You! We want MCA Young Adults to be a hub where people can connect to one another through activities in order that we may go deeper in our relationships with one another. Be sure to check out the facebook group to see everything that is going on.
