The library we call “the Bible” can connect us to God and change who we are, but distraction, hurry, and confusion can hinder our experience with these ancient texts. Rediscover how to engage Scripture as an apprentice to Jesus. In an interactive format we’ll explore themes such as:
- reading with our mind & heart
- meditating & reflecting
- the basics of interpretation
- rediscovering memorization
The format of this experience includes guided interaction, discussion in small groups, watching a teaching video, and taking a few ideas away to practice the following week. Regardless with your experience with scripture, you will find the material highly engaging and helpful!
We'll meet over the course of three weeks- Nov. 23, Dec. 7th and Dec. 14th. The reason that there is no practice on Nov. 30th is because there is a special Advent activity planned for after the morning service
