Caring for Others
This fall we are offering an interactive book study on how to care well for people as a way of life. Retired pastor, Wayne Laurie, will be our facilitator and guide during this 6 week zoom training. We will meet each Monday, from 6:30 - 8pm via zoom (Oct 20-Nov 24).
Jesus gave us a clear directive in John 13:34–35 “A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another. By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another.”
In Christian Caregiving – A Way of Life (Second Edition), author and Stephen Ministry founder Kenneth Haugk explores how our Christian faith can meaningfully shape the way we relate to and care for others. He invites us to see caregiving not as a task, but as a calling rooted in Christ’s love.
