Parent Workshop Sunday: Parenting with Intention at Every Stage

Parenting doesn't come with a roadmap - but wisdom, encouragement, and practical tools can make all the difference. Just us on April 19th after the Sunday service for a special Parent Seminar designed to support you in the unique season your family is in.

We're offering two seminar options, so you can choose the conversation most relevant to your stage of parenting:

Passing Faith on to the Next Generation - with Sid Koop
Parents, there is no greater calling we can embrace than passing faith on to our children. At times, this seems like an overwhelming task. Our voice and influence can seem small compared to the presence of other voices at school, online, in their friendship groups (especially as they reach middle and late adolescence!!). But your voice is not small. God has uniquely positioned your voice to carry the most weight.  And as followers of Jesus, He has uniquely positioned us as a community to collectively pass on the love of Jesus to our children. God has called you and your children to a time such as this, and He is powerful, wise and for you…and for your children. Let’s talk about what it practically looks like to embrace His mission for our kids.   

Moving From Manager to Mentor in the Lives of Young Adult Children - with Ed Weiss
Today’s young adults are coming of age in a world that looks very different from previous generations. Milestones such as career stability, long-term relationships, and financial independence are often reached later, creating what many researchers describe as an “extended adolescent” or emerging adult phase. While this can feel confusing or even concerning for parents, it is also a powerful season of identity formation, growth, and self-discovery. This workshop is geared towards parents with kids who are nearing high school graduation and are into the young adult years. 


Event Details:
- Date: April 19
- Lunch included after the workshop (don't worry, we'll feed your kids a snack so they can last till lunch!)
- Cost: $15 per family (goes towards offsetting event costs)
Childcare: Available for elementary-aged children
Youth Hangout : Provided for middle school students.
