Thank you for praying!  There were so many times when we sensed God's wisdom and provision during our time in Mexico! 

Here are some highlights:

  1. A fantastic retreat with the International Worker team.  Benj and Theresa Brandsma led worship; Ric and Ruth-Anne guided times of reflection and prayer; Zakaya and Vivianne created an amazing and fun filled time for the children of the workers.   There were so many positive comments about how God used the retreat to encourage and strengthen during this season of team transition- and to have fun too!
  2. Spending the first three days with Chris and Angela- We focused on encouraging them, eating and laughing together, and hearing about and seeing their world.  On countless ocassions they mentioned how invigorating it was to have us with them!
  3. Rick and Susan Kilbrai, along with their two children, departed Mexico City three days after the retreat.  They are being redeployed to Spain/North Africa.  They expressed how much the retreat meant to them as they finished their long ministry in Mexico City and prepared for a new season.
  4. No one was sick or "taken out" during the entire time!  We sensed God's physical and spiritual protection.
