Mission Creek Alliance Church is seeking a Summer Family Ministry Assistant to help lead and support our ministries for children and families during the summer months. This position is a great opportunity for a student or young adult who enjoys working with children, serving in the church, and gaining ministry leadership experience.

The Summer Children’s Ministry Assistant will work closely with our Family Ministry leadership team to help prepare and run Sunday children’s ministry (Kindergarten–Grade 5), support our Kids Day Camp and Leaders in Training program, and assist with other summer ministry opportunities for children, youth and families. The role will also help facilitate Play & Connect, our weekly parent-and-tot drop-in during May and June.

This position offers meaningful hands-on experience in children’s ministry, event leadership, and volunteer coordination within a supportive church environment.

Position Details

  • May – August (approximate, dates flexible)

  • 30 hours per week

  • $24/hour

  • Partially funded through the Canada Jobs Wage Subsidy program
